The Challenge:

Provide ironclad security for a high-profile corporate event in another state that included hundreds of high net-worth attendees as well as an A-list celebrity entertainer.

The Approach:

The Group Nine Risk Consulting team assessed the current threat landscape, potential for physical harm, repetitional damage, corporate espionage, and general embarrassment. The celebrity entertainer added an additional layer of complexity that made the venue an attractive target and could pose significant risk for the organization. We knew that it was imperative that dependable and professional security services be provided for event.

After a thorough analysis, the Group Nine Risk Consulting team determined the best solution would be executive protection from one of our partner organizations. The personnel would be sworn off-duty law enforcement. This gave our client the added benefit of a security force with years of training and experience in recognizing threats, de-escalating situations, and, if necessary, taking law enforcement action to thwart an attack. Additionally, the team would be able to call for backup to handle a security situation immediately as well as EMS should any medical condition unfold.

The Result:
